The Sheffield Spiritual Crisis Network (SCN) Group
is a peer-support group for anyone affected by
spiritual crisis.


Spiritual crisis is sometimes referred to as:
spiritual emergence, spiritual emergency, kundalini awakening,
spiritual awakening, or mystical psychosis.


The group provides a safe and supportive
environment for open discussion about the
experience of spiritual crisis.

Upcoming Meetings

  • Please note that the venue we use is accessed by a series of steep steps and has an 'outdoor shoes off' rule to protect the carpet. Feel free to bring indoor slippers/extra socks/blankets if you wish .

  • If you haven't been before, or haven't been in a while, please contact us to confrm that you are coming.

Important Information for Peer-Support Group Participants

The Spiritual Crisis Network (SCN) peer-support groups are legally and financially independent from the SCN.
By joining any of the online or face-to-face peer-support groups, you confirm that you are participating voluntarily and take responsibility for your own wellbeing during the practice.

These sessions are intended for general wellbeing and educational purposes and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment. If you are currently experiencing significant mental health difficulties, please seek support from an appropriate healthcare professional.

While every effort is made to provide a safe and supportive environment, the SCN and the session facilitators do not accept responsibility for how individuals interpret or apply the information or practices shared during the sessions.
Participants are encouraged to take part in a way that feels comfortable for them. You are welcome to step away, take a break, or keep your camera switched off at any time.

Please also be mindful that this is a shared space. Any personal experiences discussed within the group should be treated with respect and confidentiality.
